Please join us on Thursday, November 10th from 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. at Olgilvy and Mather, located at 636 11th Ave (SE corner of 47th Street) to help support NOVA Hope for Haiti and the hurricane relief efforts at our clinic.
The town of Cavaillon, where our clinic is located, suffered immense flooding damage. “More than 1,000 homes have been damaged or destroyed by the flood waters and violent winds,” said Ernst Ais, the mayor of the town of Cavaillon.
We provided shelter in our clinic for 60 orphans and seven families during the storm, which sustained minimal damage due to the high quality construction that was completed in 2013.
In addition, our potable water well is supplying clean water to the community which is so critical during the recovery period. Our solar panels are also still operable and allowing our staff to continue to treat patients while providing shelter for our refugees.
We have the ability to directly help our neighbors during this crisis since we have been working in this town for ten years. We have come to personally know these families through the years.
The ticket price of $75 includes open bar and light fare. Tickets must be purchased in advance – they will not be available at the door.
We are grateful to Olgilvy and Mather for sponsoring and hosting this event.
We hope to see you there!
